Ettore Bugatti (for civil status Ettore Arco Isidoro Bugatti), born on September 15, 1881, in Milan, Italy, and died on August 21, 1947, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, was an Italian industrialist and inventor naturalized French shortly before his death.

He was one of the founders of the luxury and competition automobile industry with Bugatti automobiles in Alsace. He is the father of Jean Bugatti and the brother of sculptor Rembrandt Bugatti.

Even today, he is still considered one of the pioneers of the automobile.
