Provenance Former Private Collection of Mr Cocq.

Original gouache in colors by the artist on paper mounted on cardboard, signed lower left, this project can be sold framed or unframed. (see photo)

According to Pierre Cappiello who is currently writing the Catalogue Raisonné of Leonetto Cappiello, it would seem that this would be a second project after the creation of the poster in 1922, this project would be dated around the 1930s.

This project is published, with a first draft with two roosters entitled, Vin de champagne, on the catalogue raisonnée which is online, the link to which we attach.
