Large model of Agence Arma for the BB 16500 scale 1 / 20th, made of metal, very detailed, mounted on rails and presentation balast.
The ARMA company, managed by Robert Palbras, was located on the 4th floor of a building on rue Étienne Marcel in Paris.


Their specialty was the production of industrial models. In the railway sector, they supplied practically all the manufacturers for models attached to the calls for tenders and the SNCF for the models of its Departments and its shops.

The most commonly used scale was 1 / 20th. However, a significant number of 1 / 43.5 scale models were also produced.
Little known thing: these are the BB 4400 kW (7200/15000/22200) Fulgurex which were produced by ARMA at the request of Marcel Darphin.

Robert Palbras, who introduced me to the production line, told me: "to find my way around, the production of the finished model must not exceed 22 hours of work ...
