MISS SPOGLIARELLO BRIGITTE BARDOT-EN EFFEUILLANT LA MARGUERITE
RARE AND SPLENDID ITALIAN POSTER
Agnès, the daughter of General Dumont, wrote and had published under her initials only a book entitled “En effeuillant la marguerite”.
This satire of her provincial town causes a scandal and when her father learns that she is the author, he decides to send her to boarding school. Arriving at the station, she escapes by jumping on a train to Paris where she meets a lively journalist, Daniel.
Believing she was staying with her brother, she moved to the Balzac Museum and to repay a unique edition that she sold, she entered a striptease competition. She appears masked in front of the public, which allows her to fool the gullible Daniel who wants to marry her quickly.
Everything ended in Vichy, in good humor and with the approval of General Dumont.
